Cole Slaw
Ingredients
- 1 oz (30ml) milk (use am allowance)
- 1-2 tsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 packet Truvia
- 1/2-1 tsp horseradish
- 1-2 tsp total of various herbs
- ex: basil, thyme, oregano, mint, sea salt, pepper
- 1/2 head of red cabbage shredded
- you can mix 1/2 with green cabbage also
- 2 Tbsp of minced red onion (or 1/2 red onion)
- Other chopped veggies (peppers, radishes, celery)Mix together cabbage and other vegetables you are using. Add liquid to stir. Tastes best if left a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
Directions
In a cup, add milk, vinegar, lemon juice and sweetener. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add horseradish, herbs, salt & pepper and stir. Taste. Add additional spices to taste.
Mix together cabbage and other vegetables you are using. Add liquid to stir. Tastes best if left a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
