Cole Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 oz (30ml) milk (use am allowance)
  • 1-2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 packet Truvia
  • 1/2-1 tsp horseradish
  • 1-2 tsp total of various herbs
  • ex: basil, thyme, oregano, mint, sea salt, pepper
  • 1/2 head of red cabbage shredded
  • you can mix 1/2 with green cabbage also
  • 2 Tbsp of minced red onion (or 1/2 red onion)
  • Other chopped veggies (peppers, radishes, celery)Mix together cabbage and other vegetables you are using. Add liquid to stir. Tastes best if left a few hours or overnight in the fridge.

Directions

  1. In a cup, add milk, vinegar, lemon juice and sweetener.  Let sit for 5 minutes.

  2. Add horseradish, herbs, salt & pepper and stir.  Taste.  Add additional spices to taste.

  3. Mix together cabbage and other vegetables you are using.  Add liquid to stir.  Tastes best if left a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
